Movie Review:

I approached shame with an intense desire to like this movie which indeed I did and yet I was left wanting more from the film. Michael Fassbender (X-Men: First Class) a semi functioning sex addict and Carey Mulligan (Drive) his wayward sister are the center of the film. The viewer is taken though Fassbenders days prior to his sisters arrival and how he is able to manage his addiction, but following her moving in to his apartment things begin to deteriorate. I don't want to give much else away, that is for you to find out if you choose to watch the film. What I will offer you is that it's a dark look at two broken siblings with an inability to find intimacy and understanding within themselves, each other and the world at large.
